IMPORTANT HEALTH UPDATE Please note that all our Camps (ages 5–8) follow a Forest School approach — children spend the entire day outdoors in Prospect Park, in all types of weather. To ensure safety and comfort, children enrolled in our Junior camp group (ages 5-8) must be able to independently use the bathroom and change clothes as needed (without any adult assistance). If your child is not yet at this level of independence, please register them instead for our Peewees In-Person Camp (ages 2–4). Kindly note that we do not issue refunds under any circumstances and cannot move children to a different group after registration. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Juguemos Summer Program offers a Spanish language environment for children. Our main goal is to help children develop love, respect and care for the natural world around them while they enjoy daily summertime & enriching activities.
Campers will be gathered by ages.
Younger children will be addressed inSpanish only while older children years old will be addressed with a bilingual approach unless already bilingual, in which case teachers and instructors will use Spanish only with them.
Each week children will learn about nature, animals, food, music, art & dancing of different iconic countries with emphasis in Spanish Speaking ones. Children will go on field and exploration journeys in the park, do Yoga poses, enjoy Music and Movement, play ball games, and much more as part of our enrichment program. Walking trips, nature observation, structured play, and workshops. After registration, teachers will share the amazing trips they have been planning for this summer!
Our camp is designed to provide an environment where English-speaking children learn Spanish, and Spanish-speaking children further develop their language skills. It is conducted by highly qualified Bilingual Teachers and Instructors.
Children in our Summer Program will develop tolerance, self-confidence, and leadership skills in a safe, stimulating and accepting environment.
Our Staff is well trained in Early Childhood and Environmental Education and serves as positive role-models.
