EARLY CHILDHOOD CERTIFIED GROUP TEACHER (BILINGUAL SPANISH / ENGLISH)
For it's 2's and 3's and 4's programs
Must have New York Certification in Early Childhood Education (or in the process of obtaining) and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an known preschool program. This is a Full time position.
Responsibilities include:
Curriculum Developing and Planning. Leading a small group of children. Lesson planning, prepping, teaching academic and social concepts, keeping a safe, clean, nuturing enrivonment.
Creating Monthly Calendars, Monthly Newsletters, Progress reports, Parent Teacher Conferences and Daily Communication to interact with parents.
Developing trust with the children and parents. Coordinating with staff, other teachers and assistants.
Must be able to teach after school enrichment classes daily in same or different location in the neighborhood.
All activities and classes run in SPANISH.
Over all: Must LOVE children, be high energy (Type A personality), super patient, highly articulate, able to work independently, motivated and a team player. Must be super reliable.
