Our After School 24-25

Hello parents and community, this year Juguemos offers two modalities to continue with its after school activities
         1- AFTER SCHOOL (ages 4-6) ideal for those families who need afternoon care (runs bilingual)
         2- VIRTUAL SPANISH AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES (ages 4  to high school) ideal  for families who are looking for Spanish and do not need afterschool care.

After School Program​ Overview

Since 2001, Juguemos a Cantar has offered Spanish to the community.  Our program and experienced and caring staff offers the right setting for children  to create, learn and build lasting friendships.  Our program is small and offers personalized attention to each child and each family which helps to create a really strong community. Our program is for ALL English and Non-English Speaking Families.  Everyone is welcome!    Our program options include 1,2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week from 3pm- 5:45pm, depending on the coverage that you need.  Juguemos a Cantar serves multiple schools in the neighborhood, including pickup from Bishop Ford K280.  Please see below details about our  2019-2020 School Year.  We are here for you! JUGUEMOS A CANTAR
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:
Our After School Program is fun and interactive!  Children will enjoy a BILINGUAL environment, where they can learn or brush up on the Spanish language.

Our AfterSchool Program runs bilingual with segments in Spanish and English). Children 4-6y can attend.

NO PICK UP FROM SCHOOLS: 
We are not offering pick up from local schools at this time.  

Typical Day in After School

 After arrival, children will have snack in a relax friendly and family style environment.  We offer a variety clubs.  
Children will have access to, for example: yoga,  music, art, recycling art,  board games, building, clay, puppet making, traditional games .  We can supervise homework and we also offer a place to sit and read.  

 We also offer  VIRTUAL SPANISH CLASS* 

SPANISH VIRTUAL CLASS
Offered ONCE or TWICE a week - 45 minute class.
Days vary depending on age. Please CLICK here to find the most updated SCHEDULE OF CLASSES. 
​Classes may be added according to demand. A minimum of 3 children is required to open a group.
* Spanish class includes: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and conversational skills. All done in an fun and interactive way.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS / WORKSHOPS:  
Workshops and Clubs include:  cooking, science, recycling, art, clay, puppet making, board games, traditional group games, gardening, among others.   Workshops will be given in cycles throughout the year.  CLICK HERE to read about them

MINI CAMPS 
We offer MINI CAMPS during  Winter, Midwinter, Spring for an additional fee.   Children enjoy seeing old friends and teachers as well as making new friends.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT (aka PIZZA PARTY). 
We love to have kids over once a month for pizza, movie and friends. We will keep children happy and busy while parents spend time alone, go shopping , etc.  Click here  to find out more about this cool option for parents.

*We may offer MINI-CAMP on Half Days or Early Dismissals (NOT AVAILABLE). Usually the MINI-CAMPS include pick up from schools we regularly do pick up. Please inquire with the office. (NOT AVAILABLE)

Pick up requires 4 children per pick up.  Pick up time is available from 2:30p to 3:30p only.  See our developing pick up list above. ​

FALL TERM
Monday, September 30, 2024 - Friday, January 31 , 2025
  • to Register please complete the appropriate registration form.  All tuition information is explained there
    • $50 Non-Refundable Reg Fee (in person only)
    • 50% due at Registration
    • Tuition Balance due October 1 
    • or, if you register after October 1, Full Tuition is due at registration
SPRING TERM
Monday, February 3, 2025 - Wednesday, June 13, 2025
  •   Tuition:
    • $50 Non-Refundable Reg Fee (if not paid in Fall Semester - only In-person after school)
    • 50% due at Registration OR  by January 1
    • Tuition Balance due January 30th
    • Full Tuition due AFTER  FRIDAY January 30th

Fees

  • $50 Annual Registration Fee PER CHILD for IN-PERSON (non-refundable).
  • $25  for returned checks.​​
  • LATE PICK UP is $1 per minute after 5:30 pm  (pick up time starts at 5pm to 5:30pm. 
  • You will be expected to pay CASH the LATE FEE to the person staying late with your child at that time.
